Who we are
These terms apply to orders placed on this website with Moraine Alpine Skincare S.r.l. (demo), Moränenhof 4, 39020 Vinschgau (BZ), Italy, VAT number IT00000000000 (demo), email care@moraine-skin.example.
Who can buy
We sell to consumers aged 18 or over and deliver to addresses in the European Union. Business customers buying for resale are covered by separate wholesale terms.
Our products
Our products are cosmetic products. We describe them as accurately as we can, with their full ingredient lists on each product page. Colors may look slightly different on screen, and small differences in color or scent between batches are normal for plant ingredients.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you pay, and shipping is free on orders from €60. Payment is handled by our store provider, Shopify or Stripe, on its own checkout pages and with the payment methods shown there. We may correct an obvious pricing error before we confirm your order.
How the contract is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order, for example when a product is out of stock; in that case we refund any payment straight away.
Delivery
We ship within the times stated on our Shipping & Returns page. The risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you or to a person you name. If delivery is more than 30 days late, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, which we send on request, but you don’t have to.
For hygiene reasons, this right doesn’t apply to sealed products that have been unsealed after delivery.
We refund the purchase price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We may wait until the goods are back with us or you have shown that you sent them. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods.
Our 30-day return promise for unopened products, described on the Shipping & Returns page, applies in addition to this right.
Refills and subscriptions
Refills are made for use with Moraine bottles. Clean and dry the bottle before refilling, as described on our Refill page. Refill subscriptions are managed through our store provider: you can skip, pause or cancel before the next order is prepared, and the 5% subscription discount applies while the subscription is active.
Discount codes
Discount codes apply to products, not to shipping, and can’t be exchanged for cash. Unless a code says otherwise, only one code can be used per order. The first-order code from our newsletter can be used once per customer.
Guarantee of conformity
As a consumer, you have a legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery, under the Italian Consumer Code and the EU rules it implements. If a product is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will replace it or refund you. Please use products before the date on the label and within the period after opening shown there.
Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for a contract of this kind. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Complaints and governing law
Please send complaints to care@moraine-skin.example; we reply within five working days. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The version shown on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
